2. REQUESTED EXTENSIONS
:: 2.1 Replace NO push button by NC push button
I found a nice button in stock, but it was a Normal-Closed push button. The Velleman
kit uses a Normal-Open button. So I needed to modify the circuit, so I could use
my own button
:: 2.2 Sound alert when time expired
After pressing the start button, the solder station will work for a certain amount
of time. After that, the relay just clicks off. I wanted to be notified when this
happens, so I can press the button again. I chose to use a buzzer to get my attention
when the relays click off.
:: 2.3 Increase timer time
The Velleman kit can be used for delays between 0 and 15 minutes. This is a little bit
too short for my application. I want a delay of at least 30 minutes, but not bigger than
1 hour.
