IMATCH Scripts

What is IMATCH?

IMATCH is a database application to store your photographs. Once you have added the photos to the database, you can launch powerful searches on the database. I am not going to discuss the complete program here. You can visit the IMATCH website instead. The IMATCH software is not free but it doesn't cost very much.

IMatch Scripts

IMatch also offers script functionality. This means you can write your own custom functions in a scripting language. I wrote/modified some of these scripts which can be downloaded from this webpage.

Scripting overview:

Export to google earth: With IMatch you can search the database and view all possible results. There is an existing script which allows you to export the search results to a Google Earth file. The script was very limited and just allowed to export one resulting image to google earth. I have modified the script in a way you can export all of the resulting images to google earth.
