1. REQUESTED SYSTEM
:: 1.1 General Overview
The goal for this project was to build an alarm system for a regular house. This house
is divided in 3 zones, which can be turned on/off. One zone, at the front door, is a
delayed zone. If someone comes in, he has a limited amount of time to enter his password
at a keyboard. The 2 other zones are direct zones: when a sensor is triggered, the alarm
starts immediately.
:: 1.2 Installed Sensors
At doors and windows, glass break sensors are installed. To detect if the doors opens,
magnetic sensors were used. Motion detectors couldn't be used.
